Inspiration: Always wanted to do something big and awe-inspiring. Then my friends came up with ridiculous skit about Pikachu sumo-wrestling Totoro over Tokyo. So I made the costume with the help of Susan, my father and Trevor. Trevor got to wear it and it was the first costume I made that won Craftsmanship. I was soooo psyched!

Favorite Aspect: It looks so dorky! The grin's got crooked teeth...

Hardest Task: Building the inner wire frame. My father and I used sooo much wire to make loopes and reinforced every joint with more wire and then apoxy glue. Took a whole weekend, but it was very stable.
