Inspiration: I decided to try my hand at making a huge oversized prop sword. (I've decided if I ever try my hand at it again, I'll wait until the weather's nicer. Bleh.)
Favorite Aspect: The hugeness of it, which lends it a big wow factor. The fact that it stands 5' 10" tall and weighs only 6 pounds is something I'm proud of...
Least Favorite Aspect: Trying to paint it indoors during a long stretch of crappy winter weather was a PAIN.... Also, while it's hugeness makes it impressive, it also makes it difficult to work with...
Easiest Task: Wrapping the handle, which was athletic tape tied with a scrap of fabric.
Hardest Task: Hotgluing the styrene surface to the insulation foam. So much area to cover...sigh...
