Inspiration: It was one of my favourite X-Men storylines, and I thought it would be fun to do. Please excuse my con badge in this picture... oops.
Favorite Aspect: I like how it came out. I know Dark Phoenix is supposed to be red, but one of the things I liked about how she appeared a lot of time was that the red only showed in the highlights of her bodysuit, otherwise it was very dark. I wanted to airbrush the whole thing to be black (or close to black) and redder in the highlights. I never got around to doing that, and just had a black bodysuit. I do like it though, I like the red/yellow/black combo.
Plus nobody mistakes me for "nice" Phoenix in this, haha.
Least Favorite Aspect: The gloves, it was my first time making fingered gloves and they are not so good. I bought the Vogue pattern for gloves right after finishing this with the intent on remaking them, but never got around to it.
Easiest Task: The wig, and the sash.
Hardest Task: The gloves, and the Phoenix applique on the front. I tried doing it several ways before ending up with it like this.
