If you had the chace to swing by the JACO Halloween party on campus
at University of Central Florida, then you're sure to have caught
some of the fun. Candy, Cokes, and Cheetos fed a hungry crowd, including
those that tried their foot at DDR in the gaming room. People also
gathered to watch the freshest Anime episodes from Angelic Layer,
Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar, Inuyasha, and Hellsing - the main event being
a special big screen presentation of BLOOD - The Last Vampire. Right
after the feature show, the costume fashion show began with over
25 entrants donning characters ranging from Sailor Venus to Sonic
the Hedgehog.
Pictures showcases a few candid
shots from this party's excitement. There's costumers, DDRers,
and watchers of anime. You might even stumble upon some pictures
where you can't tell what the heck is going on. Another reason
you should have been there.
Videos is a quaint view of some
activities and wierdness that transpired. People dancing [ or
pretending to], costumers on stage for group photos, Chibi Sailor
Saturn and Momma Kero-chan prancing the cat walk, and cosplayers
jumping [as part of some artisitic experiment ]
Booger Fingers
No precision necessary. Work quickly to avoid melted chocolate hardening in pan. You can reheat it, but who wants the extra trouble?
2 bags pretzel rods (not sticks) 12 oz.
1 pkg. "Almond Bark" white chocolate or white chocolate chips, 12-16 oz
1 box golden raisins
1. Open one bag of pretzels; break rods in half.
2. Lay one or two sheets of waxed paper on work surface.
3. Melt half of chocolate according to package instructions. Remove from heat.
4. Dip broken end of pretzels into chocolate. Use back of spoon to spread chocolate down length of pretzels. Leave "holding" end uncovered.
5. Place dipped pretzels on waxed paper, and press raisins randomly into chocolate parts.
6. Transfer "fingers" to serving tray once chocolate is set.
7. Repeat process for 2nd bag of pretzels and remaining chocolate.
