Mr. Morikawa has also been featured in the world of electronic entertainment, as he is also the voice of the infamous Sephiroth of the FINAL FANTASY video game franchise and Heishiro Mitsurugi in the SOULCALIBUR franchise. Mr. Morikawa has also voiced in other video game titles including KINGDOM HEARTS II, NARUTO ULTIMATE NINJA 3, SUPER ROBOT WARS ORIGINAL GENERATIONS, STREET FIGHTER, TEKKEN and many others.

Question : What anime did you watch as a kid?

Mr. Morikawa: Things like Astroboy, getta robo, and mach go go.

Mr. Morikawa: Yes, when I was little I watched american dramas and I thought "I really want to do that". And now I'm the voice of Greg from Dharma and Greg. I always looked up to american style.

Question: Do you watch any anime outside of work?

Mr. Morikawa: Well, I watch the shows I'm in, and if I go to a fellow seiyuu's house, we'll watch what they're in. But other than that, no not really.

Mr. Morikawa: Yes, especially when I was in school. Kotono Mitsushi was in my same class at school. And after a show is done, the seiyuu and staff will all go drinking. Last night, I was up until around 2:30, just drinking and having fun. A lot of times though, the artists will seem like they're falling asleep while drinking with us!

Question: Is there anything you look for when you want to audition for a role? Like you prefer villain roles, or hero roles, or guys with white hair?
