His favorite thing about this is:

The hat. I think it came out perfect, and I love wearing it. I may have to make a spare so I can just wear it around cons without the full costume.

His inspiration was:

Dejiko is majorly cute! She's a fun character with her speech impediment~nyo, her wild attitude, and the show is just outrageously silly.

This was the first costume I did 100% by myself. It took me about 60 hours... mostly after work and I spent around $100, most of it being the Crinoline.

The trouble he had was:

Getting the hat to fit JUST right was interesting. I had made 'Gemma' (her round sidekick thing) as practice to get the correct size and shape for the hat. Nothing was done with a pattern. Sewing all the fur for the hat, boots and paws was rather difficult.

Next time:

Sew the dress instead of convert one. I'd make it bigger so it wasn't so tight and uncomfortable. Plus I put the buttons on the sleeves on the wrong side. I already replaced my first wig that I thought was horrible.
