Inspiration: As a huge Gundam fangirl, when I was introduced to Seed, I immediately fell in love. Especially with the introduction of the adorable pink-haired pop princess, Lacus. I immediately knew I wanted to cosplay her at my second ever anime convention, Anime Expo 2005. In early 2006, I bought a new Lacus wig and decided to rewear the costume once again at Anime Expo 2006. Since I absolutely adore the new wig, I have plans to make several other Lacus outfits. :D
Favorite Aspect: The big purple skirt is SO flowy, and so much fun to twirl around like a little girl in. XD
Least Favorite Aspect: I really wish I'd worn a petticoat to make the big purple skirt fuller, but unfortunately, I had absolutely NO room in my suitcase for something like a full-length petticoat. XD
Easiest Task: The large skirt, ironically. My mom actually found a huge, thick purple tablecloth, and we made it into the skirt. HOW MUCH DOES THAT ROCK??
Hardest Task: Apart from finding white pumps, it would be attaching that gold trim to the top and triangles. I found metallic gold bias tape and thought it would be perfect but it turned out to be bias tape from HELL. It frayed and moved around as I was sewing and declared it's hatred for me frequently. I really like the way it looks, though. I think it turned out better than if I had just used yellow gold ribbon.
