Inspiration: Okay, so I've got this friend that's 6'5'' and skinny, so he's the perfect Vash. Unfortunately, he can't sew. He was willing to buy the materials, and he's a friend, so I made the coat for free.
Favorite Aspect: He was ATTACKED at the con. He's the perfect Vash and the girls love this boy. Even the 'normal' girls we ran into at Perkins told our waitress he was cute.
Other than that, the poplin I used yielded the best results so far.
Least Favorite Aspect: The hems are getting all wavy-like, like denim, no matter how many times I press them.
Easiest Task: Well, I finally know what to do, so I put the coat together in the right order. It only took 2 days to make.
Hardest Task: Trying to fit it to someone who's not there. It's what I hate about commission work. The waist was just a tiny bit too small and the snap popped, but I'll get it fixed eventually.
I also hear that getting Eric's hair to do that took about an hour and half a bottle of glue. I am so happy I decided to stay out of that part.
