Inspiration: When my niece told me she wanted to be Toph for Halloween at the start of October, she added on that she wanted her baby brother to be dressed as Aang. The original plan was that her parents would be Katara and Zuko, but I ran out of time :/ But the kids looked great! Since my godson's only a year old, I decided not to make the costume TOO detailed - he'll outgrow it in another month and he's not old enough to complain that small details are missing :p So I modded a romper, modded a hat pattern into his capelet and made a long belt.

Favorite Aspect: HE LOOKED SO FREAKING ADORABLE!!!! <3 <3 <3 The fabric for the romper was a tawny butter suede (soooo soft!), and wearing that and his little capelet he was plenty warm for candy begging! :D

Least Favorite Aspect: I really don't have one, but if I had to pick it would be that I didn't add on Aang's gauntlets, booties and spats. Baby feet sizes = impossible to guess at. So he just wore brown socks and brown sneakers.

Easiest Task: Making his belt and capelet, actually. The fabric is similar in texture to a very light corduroy, so it doesn't fray. At all. NO HEMMING! WHOO!

Hardest Task: Modifying the pattern for the romper, actually. Constantine's a year old, and the pattern said the largest size was for 6 months. But after I made a demo of a slightly larger 6 month size (I just stretched out the proportions) it was swallowing him! So I cut it down TWO sizes and it was now comfortably baggy :3
