Inspiration: I loved the movie as a child, and thought it'd be a fun group to pull together. Being none of us looked much like the actresses, we all opted for 'younger' versions, allowing creative license.
Favorite Aspect: I love love love LOVE the underdress. The bodice is lined, and all edges are double stitched for comfort. The dress could easily be worn on its own.
Least Favorite Aspect: I wish I could have made the over robes out of velvet rather than satin, but I did not have enough left over velvet from prior projects, and couldn't afford more.
Easiest Task: The wig...since I didn't go with the bun hairstyle she had in the film, I just left it down.
Hardest Task: Losing the weight to fit into the outer dress, as when I made it, for unknown (or badly measured) reasons, the arms were too tight to wear. Thus I spent two months working out JUST to fit into a dress. Thankfully, I did.
