Inspiration: The artwork of Trinity Blood is totally my style. I was having trouble deciding which character to cosplay since they all have gorgeous costumes, but after seeing the anime I decided on Esther, because out of all the characters I can relate to her the most hands down. I love her character and I adore the detail and complexity of her artbook outfit.
Favorite Aspect: I'm very happy with how this turned out in general. This was definitely the most complex costume I've worked on so far, so I'm happy it didn't turn into a trainwreck. I also love how swish-worthy the skirt is.
Least Favorite Aspect: The belt-holster contraption, as it looks kind of bulky and unflattering ... but I wanted to be as accurate as I could be, so I included it. I would also like to re-make the cuff/collar arrows out of wonderflex or resin someday, as right now they tend to break ... a lot.
Easiest Task: Acquiring the gloves and boots. I was going to make the gloves, but I couldn't find a good glove pattern, so I decided to buy a pair from Ebay and embellish them.
Hardest Task: Detailsssssssssssss. x_x High-res reference shots are a blessing and a torture device combined.
