Inspiration: I love the Serenity dress, and I love the Serenity character. I find it incredibly awesome that in the Sailormoon anime and manga that her Princess form is always her strongest. To be so delicate and so powerful in the same form.. Really stunning concept.
I ended up creating the dress out of a lycra swimsuit lining, actually. The way the fabric appears to fall to me doesn't look like satin or some of the fuller fabrics; it's very clingy. The dress was created with the outside, as well as a more fitted inside lining. My version does have straps, because I care too much about my modesty. *^^* I haven't had enough time to wrangle the sleeves out, so instead I sent a friend for bridal flowers and put them on elastic for my arms. *^^*
Favorite Aspect: Love the silver hair. I'm all about that. And it's Serenity. What girl can resist being a Princess? *^^*
Least Favorite Aspect: The flower-sleeves pinch. Ow. ;_;
Easiest Task: The dress shell... Fairly simple dress shape, really.
Hardest Task: All the beading details... Gah. >.< And the fact that Serenity's figure doesn't exist -anywhere-... And certainly not on me. But hey. ^^ The new silver wig was also moderately difficult... I need another try at it.
