Inspiration: I finally get to be someone evil. I dunno what it is, but I ALWAYS choose good guys to cosplay (and I love villians, too). This makes me extremely happy, you have no idea.
I'm determined to do this thing right. It's a deceptively simple looking costume, but there are so many places where it could go wrong, or could be half-done.
Favorite Aspect: Being evil~! <3
(and sexy!)
Least Favorite Aspect: The nodes, sin lines, whatever you want to call them. The annoying red things that will not stay on my back no matter what. They're in a position so that they're constantly pulled, and just come completely off my back and stick into the wig.
Easiest Task: Shorts, because somehow, I managed to screw up the skirt on the first try. The second skirt went pretty well, though.
Hardest Task: The wig and working with the pleather. Though neither were really all that hard, they just took a lot of time and patience.
Also, the fact that this costume is absolutely impossible in real life: there are no seams, there's no obvious way that the clothing pieces are put on and taken off. It's like the Sin's costumes are molded onto them, or something. Which made it a bit difficult to adapt.
UPDATE - 1/21/08
Most of the details in this entry are for the original costume. I've since remade most of it (a big chunk of that being for AB last year), and periodically fixed up other parts. I'm still not 100% happy with it, so I'm sure it will undergo even more improvements in the future. This thing is my baby. And I've probably put much more money into it than the cost thing says, adding in all the changes, etc.
