Inspiration: Minako is my favorite character from anything, ever. I relate to her so much, that in my eyes she practically IS me xD! As a tribute to her, I felt it to be appropriate to cosplay her in her ultimate form, Eternal Sailor Venus <3
Favorite Aspect: The bows :D! Since the Eternal fuku is based off of Takeuchi-sama's manga drawings, I wanted to try to make my fuku look as "manga-like" as possible. I made the ribbons really flat and pointy like the drawings by using lots of thick interfacing. I really like the way they turned out, I think they give the costume the manga-feel that I was going for <3
Least Favorite Aspect: None, really ^^;
Easiest Task: The boots ^^. I found the perfect white stilletto boot online. If you've ever seen the manga drawings, the heels on the Eternal Boots are pretty obscene!! All I had to do was cut the tops in the "V" shape and sew on the ribbons and star. I <3 meh boots!
Hardest Task: The SKIRT. *dies*. It was really difficult to attach the two layers of skirt to the leotard, because not only did I have to attach them in that 'V" shape in the front, but I had to make sure the skirt was the same length all the way around the bottom. Anyone who has ever done a Sailor Senshi fuku pronbably knows exactly what I mean ;;.Senshi fukus tend to be overlooked because it seems like everyone does them, but the costumes are actually really hard to make look good! I give mad props to all Sailor Moon cosplayers!!
